1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and nojobnolife (“nojobnolife”, “we”, “us”, “our”) governing your use of nojobnolife.com, our web application and related services (together, the “Service”). By joining our waitlist, creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. Please read them too.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. The Service, and its beta status
nojobnolife helps you find roles, score them against your CV, tailor applications, identify the right people to contact at a company, and draft and send outreach. The Service is currently offered in a private beta. That means features may change, break or be removed, and the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may set or change limits on usage at any time.
4. Your account
- Keep your login credentials secure and do not share your account.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Tell us promptly at hello@nojobnolife.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
5. Acceptable use and your outreach
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. The Service helps you send outreach, but you are the sender and you are responsible for the messages you send. You agree to comply with all laws that apply to your outreach, including anti-spam laws (such as the US CAN-SPAM Act) and data-protection and e-privacy laws (such as the GDPR) in the places you and your recipients are located. You must not use the Service to send unlawful, deceptive, harassing or bulk unsolicited messages.
6. Connected accounts
If you connect a third-party account such as Gmail, you authorise us to access and use it only to provide the features you enable — for example, sending outreach from your account and detecting replies to track follow-ups. You can disconnect at any time from your settings or your provider's account page. Your use of those third-party services is also governed by their own terms.
7. Your content and our intellectual property
You keep all rights to the content you provide — your CV, profile, job descriptions and the messages you create (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process and use Your Content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service for you. You confirm you have the rights needed to provide Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
The Service itself — including our software, design, branding and content we create — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, scrape or build a competing product from the Service, except where the law expressly allows.
8. AI-generated content
The Service uses AI to score roles and to draft CVs, cover letters and emails. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. It is provided as a starting point, not as professional, legal or career advice. You are responsible for reviewing and editing anything before you rely on it or send it, and for making sure it is accurate and appropriate.
9. Plans, payment and cancellation
- Some features are or will be offered on paid plans. Prices, features and billing periods are shown at the point of purchase.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method for the plan you select, including recurring charges until you cancel.
- Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access until then.
- Prices may include applicable taxes, or taxes may be added at checkout, depending on your location.
EU and UK consumers — right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Where you ask us to start a paid digital service immediately, you agree that performance begins during the withdrawal period and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. Nothing here affects your mandatory statutory rights.
10. Changes, availability and suspension
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may carry out maintenance. We may suspend or limit your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or to protect the Service, other users or third parties.
11. Third-party services
The Service relies on, and links to, third-party services (for example Google and Stripe, where you interact with them directly). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Termination
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, the rights granted to you end; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licences you have granted, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) will survive. We handle your data after termination as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that contact data will be accurate or current, or that using the Service will result in interviews, job offers or any particular outcome. The Service does not provide legal, financial or professional advice.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, opportunities, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud — and if you are a consumer, this clause does not affect your mandatory statutory rights.
15. Indemnity
If you are using the Service other than as a consumer, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law — including any claim arising from outreach you send.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves or the law changes. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of France have jurisdiction — except that, if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's online dispute-resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We would always rather resolve a problem directly first, so please contact us before starting any formal process.
